(up to 4 people) $10/person after the 4th person
PHOTO SESSIONS
Photo sessions include up to 2 hours for your photo session at one location of your choice (There may be an additional charge for every 30 min. after that), unlimited outfit changes, minor touchups, and creative post processing of images. (Black and white, sepia, faded, and some selective color included)
SCHEDULING A SESSION
We are available for sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and most Saturdays and Sundays. We can also arrange week day afternoons if needed. To book a session please contact us to see what days we have open, then e-mail us with your date(s) and what type of session you want. Your session date will be put in the books! Session fees are non-refundable.
MATERNITY AND NEWBORN
Please note that maternity sessions need to be scheduled at 28-34 weeks of pregnancy and newborn sessions need to be scheduled when the baby is 7-14 days old.
CANCELLATIONS
Let’s try to avoid cancellations if at all possible. If something comes up and you can’t make your session we move your session fee to another date at no additional charge. You can change your date no more than 2 times. Session fees are non-refundable.
PAYMENT POLICY
Session fee is due on the date the photographs are taken. Half of the total order is due when the order is placed. The other half is due when you pick up your order. Canvas orders have to be paid in full when the order is placed. You can send a check or money order.
DELIVERY TIME
It takes 2-3 weeks to get prints in and about 4-6 weeks for canvas. Allow extra time during the Holidays.
LOCATION
We will work with you to help you decide what is the best location for your session. We do mostly outdoor on location photography, but we do have in home studio available for those indoor sessions. If you have a location in mind let me know.
WHAT TO WEAR
Stay away from logos and characters, white, and bold patterns, they don't photograph well. Solid colors work best for family portraits. Try to coordinate the best you can. You might want to look at magazine ads for ideas on how to coordinate clothing for group shots. Everyone does not have to wear the same color, but it looks best if they are in the same color family. Like all primary colors or all pastel colors.
With children the brighter and more fun the outfit the better. We want the pictures to reflect their personality. Please be sure to let us know what you plan for your child to wear. It will help us decide on the location and the props for your session.
For newborns bring a favorite blanket and some hats. Newborns are best photographed in their birthday suite. Clothes are usually too big and hide the newborns adorable features. We have some blankets and hats to choose from. Moms and dads that will be photographed with the newborn should be sure to wear your wedding rings and a black long sleeve shirt.
Seniors bring the clothes that will reflect your personality. Letting me know what you plan to wear will them me help you choose a location for your session. Jeans and a nice shirt work well for senior casual portraits.
Don't forget about your shoes. Bring shoes that match your outfits and if it's a family session make sure your shoes coordinate. For a casual feel we might take some portraits with no shoes as well.
CAMERAS
No cameras of any kind are allowed at sessions.
